Ms. Fofana began her career in public service, working on the federal and state levels. At the White House, she worked for the Vice President’s General Counsel, where she spearheaded research on civil rights and consumer protection laws impacting minority communities. As a Staff Fellow at the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC), a national nonprofit diversity organization, her work focused on addressing the lack of representation in the telecom, media and tech industries in communities of color, as well as advocating for equal access to technology. As a Strategic Partner at the Ghatt Law Group her practice focused on dismantling regulatory barriers that impede marginalized communities from gaining equal access to radio and television ownership.

In 2004, Ms. Fofana moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in the entertainment industry.
